Thistles #1 metal print by Andrew Gillette. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Artist's Description
This is view of a field of thistles springing up in a field in the Thornton/ Brighton, Colorado area. I used a series of loose, fluid washes, finally filling in some the final details with a dry brush. Originally I intended to to have an open composition and do all the detail work with pen, but at the last moment I decided to keep it like this, at least for a while....
