Four Rows of Circles on Wood metal print by Andrew Gillette. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
In this painting, I wanted to study pattern and design, but with no particular end point in mind. The circles were created by outline of various dishes, generally using pure, unmixed colors. The wood was created using mixing burnt umber, raw sienna, and prussian blue, with a little cadmium red here and there, and applying them with dry brush techniques.
